Habakkuk confessed that he had heard God’s voice and was afraid. In reverence and concern, he pleaded with God to revive and sustain His people, Israel, even in the midst of the long years of discipline. Habakkuk earnestly beseeched God to remember mercy in the midst of His wrath.
